Services to Families of Elders in Senior Communities
Social-Emotional Companionship
When distance or busy schedules keep you away more than you’d like, I can help ensure your elder loved one is never lonely. Through dedicated, frequent visits to your elder’s assisted living residence or skilled nursing facility, I provide consistent, loving companionship—bringing joy, familiar connection, and an extra layer of watchful care.
Directly contracted with families:
Weekly visits of 60 minutes plus travel, 30-minute monthly family check-in: $600 monthly
Bi-weekly visits of 60 minutes plus travel, 30-minute monthly family check-in: $300 monthly
Peace of mind for families.
Richer days for elder ones.
Living Legacy Circle
Arrange for an intimate ritual celebrating the legacy of a loved one living with dementia.
We will work together to craft a ritual engaging chosen family members and your loved one living with dementia to share cherished life moments. Using simple language, related photos, and relevant objects, we will honor the impact that your loved one has had on your lives.
We will gather in a private space pre-arranged with the management of your loved one’s assisted living residence or skilled nursing home. The heart of the ritual itself can be expected to last 30 to 45 minutes.
Fee of $750 covers an initial consultation, planning with your loved one’s residence, assisting you to craft your stories and to select photos and objects, and coordination of the ritual itself.
It is important to not place expectations on your loved one regarding how they respond. Let it be enough that you express your respect, gratitude, and love in their presence, regardless of whether and to what degree they respond to the ritual.
End-of-Life Doulaship
As an End-of-Life Doula, I walk shoulder-to-shoulder with your elder loved one and team of caregivers, bridging the gap between the clinical and the sacred with lighthearted conviction.
My purpose is to bring ease, even joy, so your loved one can focus on what matters most for their final journey: dignity, peace and meaning.
The three principles of my approach are:
Acceptance: Honoring our human body-mind-spirit nature in its entirety.
Discipline: Embracing growth through all cycles of life, including death.
Imagination: Seeing the wonder of our belonging to humankind and nature.
4 P’s Model™ of a Positive End-of-Life
Presence: The gift of human contact. I hold space and provide a steady, grounded presence at the bedside, ensuring your loved one never has to walk this path alone. We arrange a regular visit schedule so that I help fill in the gaps and give relief to other caregivers.
Planning: The clarity in the confusion. I provide the tools to organize logistics, helping you and your loved one process decisions that honor their values. We walk through checklists and resources on end-of-life planning to sort through the most practical matters.
Passage: The sanctuary for the spirit. Whether through Reiki, guided meditation, or vigil planning and facilitation, I tend to the energy and atmosphere of your loved one’s space. We arrange sacred time dedicated to uplifting the spirit through this time of transition.
Portrait: The steward of your loved one’s story-telling. I help your loved one harvest wisdom, articulate what matters most, and weave a lasting record of their unique life legacy. We partner to document memories and milestones in written, audio, and visual form.
